Many of you might be heading home for the holidays, which means only watching TV shows and movies your family members approve of. Yikes. Bird Box: Sandra Bullock and Sarah Paulson star in this new post-apocalyptic thriller where a supernatural entity causes them to see their worst fears. If they make eye contact with it, they'll kill themselves. It's basically A Quiet Place but for sight. Streaming on Netflix

Zac & Mia, season 1: The first season of this Awesomeness TV show, about two teenagers undergoing cancer treatment, is now available for your streaming pleasure. Streaming on Hulu

Second Act: Jennifer Lopez stars in this delightful comedy about a working-class grocery-store employee who cons her way into a high-powered corporate job in New York City. Shenanigans involving Vanessa Hudgens, Leah Remini, and Milo Ventimiglia follow. In theaters
